Did I tell you I love you?

I read you say with the electronic light shining into the darkness of my eyes.

In there, deep behind the blue circle where your gaze stops, in there my secrets hide.

And youve yet to tell them that you lovethem that wake me in the morning feeling cold and alone, them that make me shake with pent up cries, them that make my hands tremble when I type to you, I love you.

They also make my lips breathless when I speak through electronic wires into your ear.

Like a bad love song, I want to whisper, dont tell me, show mebut how, what action would show me when your on the other edge of the ocean?

What action would I see with my own eyes, without the use of electronics?

And so I settle for your words, heard though telephones and seen on computer screens.

Those shadow representations of what you feel for me.
